Offers for My Items

In the main menu is a section labeled "Trades".

Click on the "Offers for My Items" link in this section to view a list of your items that have any current offers made for them by other users.

To see the details for an item listed on the "Offers for My Items" page, click the "View Offers" button on the right side of the item.

The detail page shows your item along with a list of the cash amounts that have been offered for it.

Each offer will have displayed its Picture, Title, date it was offered, Description, and offering user name which links to the user profile page.

To accept an offer for a cash amount, and create an accepted offer, click the "Accept Offer" button on the right side of the cash amount.

To reject an offer for a cash amount, and have it removed, click the "Reject Offer" button.

Accepted Offers

The "Accepted Offers" page in the main menu "Sales" section will display all cash offers that you have accepted.

Clink the "Offer Detail" button to go to the "Accepted Offer" detail page.

When you accept a cash offer for one of your items, you will also be taken to this detail page.

The "Accepted Offer" detail page first shows the offer amount that you have accepted along with your item.

The page then shows some details of the offer, including the Offer Date, Accepted Date, and Offer Status.

The Offer Status includes a "Cancel Sale" button to use if an accepted offer transaction needs to be canceled.

Next the page shows the Users that will be involved, along with the item and cash that they will be getting and giving.

Finally the page shows a "Chat" area.

On the "Accepted Offer" detail page, click the status Edit buttons to mark your item and payment as received and sent, add a note for each of the items, rate the other user, and leave a review for the other user.

If the item owner is set up to receive card payments, the buyer sent section will have a Pay with Card button instead of a status Edit button. When the payment is received, the status will be updated automatically as sent.

Users may accept card payments only if they have been set up to do so. If you are interested in being able to accept card payments, please contact JF Cards by sending an email to support@jfcards.com.

The Edit sent section for the item displays the name and address of the other user for shipping.

When all users have marked their item and payment as received and sent, the Offer Status will become "Completed".

The "Completed Sales" link in the main menu "Sales" section will list all of the accepted offers having a "Completed" Offer Status.

Finally the page shows a "Chat" area.

Offers Accepted

The "Offers Accepted" page in the main menu "Purchases" section will display all cash offers of yours that have been accepted.

Click the "Offer Detail" button to go to the "Accepted Offer" detail page. This is the same "Accepted Offer" detail page described above.

Chat

The "Accepted Offer" detail page includes a "Chat" area at the bottom.

The "Chat" area is where the users can message each other in order to plan and complete the sale.

Type any message in the text entry area and then click the "Add Message" button.

When you click the "Add Message" button, your new message will be displayed underneath.

The "Chat" area shows a list of all messages that have been entered by any user, sorted by date with the newest message at the top.

Each message also shows the user who wrote it and the time that they wrote it.
